Topper
August 20, 2010
Tim is no longer with us---
On Friday August 20, 2010... 4:00 in the afternoon, we had a visitor named JOEY,show up in our
parking lot... looking for Tim "Topper" (who by the way didn't show for work that day--no call / no
show).... we found out according to him, that
Tim owed him over $10,000.00 for "crack".....and was
there to collect....

needless to say we were ----

1. first... heart broken to find out this had happened to him..
2. Pissed (most of the time John volleys back and forth between Pissed--and..hurt--and hurt--and..
pissed....
John has known Tim since he was 16 or so....)
3. Saddened we hadn't picked up on the addiction of a dear friend...
4.Hurt again to find out we were the last to know...others were aware...but failed to let us
know.....especially for business purposes......after that afternoon's revelation...many other unexplained
issues in his change of behavior since February, became much clearer to us.........especially again
with our business.......customers complaining that prices were high here at Pour Boiz....now we know
it was Tim with the outrageous prices.....while we were absent from the shop....
5. Concerned with so many complaints from customers who were telling us they were treated rudely
both on premises and over the telephone.....
Tim always denied the accusations....doors locked later in
the afternoon and early evenings after John/Marie left for the day...leaving Tim to close up when his
"ride "got there....customers said that when they had made an appointment with him after we had left,
that upon arriving ,...the door would be locked and he wouldn't let them in or answer the phone even
though they could see him inside....
again Tim denying that this ocurred ( and more than once)
6.  enlightened about the unexplained phone calls being place
d from the business phone at all hours of
the day and night....especially when the business wasn't open for business....(11:40 pm...3:30am....
6:45 am etc.)
again Tim denying that he wasn't here during those times...
7. saddened with the revelation later --from a number of sources...that he actually had slept here in
the shop....spent many nights here (more often that not)...even though he
vehemently denied it and
became defensively "offended" that John would think that he was not truthful...about it..
8.realizing he was tattooing before and after regular business hours and not telling us about it, also not
giving the business the due percentage agreed upon when subcontracting with us....recently a number
of customers have told us he worked on them
until 11-11:30pm and pocketed the entire total of money
again unawares to us..
.the business owners..
John has had to return money to customers and also try to salvage or cover up the majority of the
work that was done by Tim on customers after February....all at no cost to the customer....
we have
lost financially
during the past few months...repairing and sometimes covering up the sub standard
tattoo work that was put out by Tim....John feels it was done in our shop....we take the blame....for
our contractors.....
9.Learning that he was taking home the machines and supplies to tattoo on customers ..again
pocketing the full amount..telling the customers
"if i do it at your house, i don't have to give the
business their percentage".
10.learning from his accquaintences both male and female that he was smoking "crack" here at the
shop when we as business owners were not present....along with smoking at their homes
that he was
crashing at.....
they finally asked him to leave, because he was smoking it in the bathroom when their
children were home....
11.Realizing that was the primary reason he spent so much time in the bathroom here at the shop,
when he worked here..
was to smoke crack...(.we were oblivious to the usage, while others knew but
kept quiet about it....
)
12. Saddened-- last but not least....about recent rumors of negative nature against us as
friends/business associates by Tim....which are all untrue--again brought to light by our mutual
accquaintences.

Tim...we were hurt and saddened...to see you go...
before your addiction took you over....
before your business demeanor and the way you talked to and treated our customers had changed for
the worse,
before the work you did on customers went from quality to extremely sub-standard...and less than
acceptable.....
...you "WERE" an asset to our business....in the past 3 years that you were with us and
represented us...you were trusted with the key to the business and was counted on to keep our
reputation and "business ethics" intact....you were there, the times when John was absent..because of
illness,hospitalization, cluster headaches...

We at least ---thank you for that...
Get Well --- and Stay Well.....old friend.....

To Our Customers---please bring it to the attention of the business owners if you have any concerns
what so ever about Pour Boiz Tattooz sub-contractors.
(if we ever have any in the future)....don't keep
your mouths shut and have us be the last to know......
Thank You....John and Marie.....
